Rhythm Dance Center, conveniently located in Belmont, Michigan, is the Rockford area's premier dance studio offering classes and instruction for all ages in a variety of dance techniques, both contemporary and classical. Opened in 2005, Rhythm Dance Center offers instruction for both the recreational and professional dancer.

At Rhythm Dance Center, our goal is to create a fun, healthy, educational, and creative environment for dancers of all ages and skills. Through dance, we strive to build self-esteem and inner strength in an environment that encourages personal growth.

Our Dance Studio has an open door policy and encourages feedback from both our students and their families. Whether seeking an extra curricular activity or a serious dance education, our classes are taught with the goal of instilling a passion and love for dance. At Rhythm, it's more than just dance; it is about motivating people to be the best they can be.

Rhythm's Dance Studio has the perfect environment to provide the Grand Rapids and Surrounding areas with hip-hop, Jazz, Tap and Ballet classes for all ages.

About the Artistic Director
Owner and dance instructor, Jen Hanes, brings a contemporary style of dance combined with classical technique in all areas of dance. Ms. Hanes has been a student of dance for over 26 years. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Western Michigan University and over 16 years of experience as a dance teacher.

To maintain her strong foundation and modern style, Ms. Hanes has been continuously studying dance in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, while maintaining a full schedule of teaching. While in Chicago, Ms. Hanes performed professionally with a variety of dance companies including: Rhythm and Groove Exchange, Culture Shock Chicago, Ascension - the Kirby Reed Project, and James P. Productions to name a few.
