The Rockford area is home to the annual Celtic Festival every 2nd Saturday in August. During the festivities, the streets of downtown Rockford will be filled with the sounds of bagpipes, fiddles, drums, and the sights, sounds and smells of the faire country as Rockford celebrates Celtic Fest.
From street vendors along historic Squires St. offering Celtic merchandise to a traditional beer tent and Celtic food,
the Rockford Celtic Festival has something for everyone. Kids will be treated to a variety of demonstrations, storytelling, a petting zoo, face paintings, and historic reenactments.
