     REF Phone-A-Thon
  • The Rockford Education Foundation (REF) is looking for volunteers to participate in its annual phone-a-thon on February 24, 25, & 26 between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Volunteers will be helping call parents in the Rockford school district seeking donations. The Phone-A-Thon is the largest fundraiser for the REF and supports many community and school related programs.

  • On Saturday, November 29th, the Rockford Rams take on the Lake Orion Dragons in the Division 1 State Finals at Ford Field in Detroit.  Kickoff is 1:00pm. This will be the 2nd meeting of the season between the teams with Rockford prevailing 17-7 in the opening game of the 2008 season held at Eastern Michigan University.

  • The City of Rockford will be picking up raked leaves on October 21st and 22nd. All leaves must be raked to the parkway for pick-up, bags are not required; however, those wishing to continue using the biodegradable bags are encouraged to do so.

Harvest Fest Kid's Coloring Competition!!!

  • Vorpi Chiropractic will be hosting a Kid's Coloring Contest during the Rockford Harvest Fest. Entries will be accepted from September 17th - October 2nd, with winners being chosen October 3rd. All winners will be invited to participate in a tour of the fire station, ride on the firetruck, and lunch and pictures with a fireman.
