If a local business is a participating member of TheRockfordNetwork.com, that business is allowed to provide up to 5000 keywords that pertain to their business. Therefore, not only can users search for our member businesses by business name, but users have the ability to search through our member businesses for specific brands, products, or services and find which businesses in the Rockford area offer these. When a person performs a search, the results that are returned are divided into two categories, Primary Results and Secondary Results.
The Primary Results are those of our member businesses and contain additional information about the business by clicking on the “More Information” button. Our member businesses are also provided with a link to their website if applicable. Please note that if you perform a search and a business is returned, that business has been recognized as offering the good, service, or brand that you were searching for.
Below the primary results are listed the secondary results, which include all the remaining Rockford Area Businesses that matched your search query and are not currently a participating member of TheRockfordNetwork.com. The secondary results will provide only the most basic contact information for the business including their phone number and address.
Any business in the Rockford Area can be searched for by their business name, provided the business is listed in our database; however, only our participating member businesses can be searched for by keyword, i.e. food, restaurant, dinner, dining, etc.
